In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, Dining Out For Life South Sound 2021 pivoted from a one-day event to a month-long campaign focused on community support, safety, and shared joy. As Communications Chair for Dining Out For Life International, I led the creative direction for the campaign’s rebrand—centering BIPOC and LGBTQIA+ communities and grounding the messaging in the principles of Community-Centric Fundraising.
The playful yet powerful #GetYourYummy theme encouraged diners to support local restaurants and local HIV services, while staying safe. Our toolkit included custom social media assets, physical stickers, and digital downloads that restaurants and community members could easily share. The result was a vibrant, adaptable campaign that celebrated food, care, and resilience.

Bold, warm, and playful — the logo captured the spirit of joyful resistance and mutual support. A tangible, shareable piece of the campaign — these stickers were distributed at participating restaurants to build visibility and solidarity.

Video Reel
A curated selection of short and long-form videos, produced in collaboration with volunteers, staff, and influencers. These videos were meticulously crafted and strategically optimized for each social media platform, ensuring maximum engagement and performance across channels.

Facebook banner that was also printed and distributed with delivery orders that included donation information on the back side.

Messaging emphasized mutual care and honored the unique challenges restaurants faced during the pandemic.
